1985 - first vintage and planting of 5 hectare Amphitheatre and House Block vineyards.
1987 - acquisition of adjoining 15 hectare property; construction of on-site winery (for 1988 vintage); planting of 10 hectare Front Block vineyard.
1988 - completion of 'home' vineyard plantings of chardonnay (6 hectares), pinot noir (5 hectares), cabernet sauvignon (1.5 hectares), cabernet franc, merlot, sauvignon blanc and viognier (half a hectare each).
1993 - acquisition of Briarston Vineyard (15 hectares) part planted with 4.4 hectares of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and a little malbec and petit verdot; extended in 1994 with 7 hectares of new French clones of chardonnay, pinot noir and merlot.
