Single vineyard wines from Coldstream Hills

Coldstream Hills prides itself for having access to many of the best vineyards in the Yarra Valley. These sites are found throughout the upper and lower Yarra Valley with each vineyard providing a range of unique characteristics to the wines.
Back in the late 1980s, James Halliday introduced a selection of single vineyard wines under Coldstream Hills to celebrate their unique characteristics. In 2010, the tradition recommenced with the release of the 2009 Single Vineyard range.
Classic Upper Yarra fruit characters of lemon peel and hints of lime are beautifully balanced with crisp, mouthwatering acidity. Toasty oak and barrel fermentation characters provide texture and complexity, but do not dominate the wine. The palate is fine, yet powerful and will certainly reward careful cellaring.
