Plan a summer adventure to the Yarra Valley

Since James and Suzanne Halliday first founded our winery in the 80s, our vineyard has grown into a shining example of premium cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Yarra Valley.

In fact, our cellar door still overlooks the same stunning views across the valley that first captivated our founders’ imaginations.

Drop by this summer as we swing open the doors to our stunning outdoor deck overlooking the Great Dividing Range. There’s no better spot in the Valley to enjoy a glass of wine with some local cheeses and incredible views.

There is plenty to see and do just up the road too - you can even head on your very own wine trail along Maddens Lane. Together, our wineries traverse a spectacular natural amphitheatre formed by the Coldstream and Warramate hills, and these hills are home to some of the oldest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines in Australia. Check out Tokar Estate, Warramate Wineries or Visit Yarra Valley for more info.

Of course you can’t go past award-winning Oakridge Wines for lunch nearby. Chefs Matt Stone and Jo Barret are doing wonderful things out there and continue to pick up a plethora of awards for their work – including most recently named number 14 in Delicious Magazine’s top 100 Victorian Restaurants.

On your way back into town why not cap off the day with one more stop. You could try Micro-brewery Coldstream brewery for a refreshing beer or discover St Huberts' incredibly well-priced and elegant wines just before you get back on the Maroondah highway.
