Mixed selection contains...

x2 Coldstream Hills Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2019

Sourced from low yielding vineyards in the Lower and Upper Yarra Valley, all fruit is selectively picked prior to its delivery into the winery. It is made using a variety of handling and fermentation techniques, including the use of whole bunches. Each batch is then matured in seasoned and new oak for eight to nine months, prior to blending and bottling.

x2 Coldstream Hills Deer Farm Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018

At higher altitude and planted in 1994 on grey clay-loam soil, the Coldstream Hills Deer Farm Vineyard in Gladysdale produces charming Pinot Noir wines with sour cherry, hints of blue fruits and chalky tannins. Ethereal and perfumed with notes of muddled strawberries and cranberries, this is a beautifully framed wine.

x1 Coldstream Hills Dr's Block Pinot Noir 2016

The fruit derived from Dr's Block is a chameleon in some respects. An alluring bouquet of vibrant red fruits, hints at Upper Yarra origins, however this brooding single vineyard Pinot Noir hails from the warmer, lower Yarra Valley. Cherries, raspberries and strawberries marry with understated French oak on the palate, transpose beautifully from the nose, interwoven with whole bunch spice and savouriness. Fine, chalky tannins and impressive structure confirm its Lower Yarra roots. A medium-bodied style, enjoy the generosity of flavour of this inaugural release.

x1 Coldstream Hills Reserve Pinot Noir 2018

A triumphant return for our Reserve Pinot Noir – this release has been well worth the wait. Handpicked fruit from estate blocks, including the low yielding Amphitheatre A Block, planted in 1985. Dark cherry and plum notes enhanced by subtle French oak and chalky, persistent tannins. A lingering finish and delicate balance round out this Reserve release and a long future seems assured.
